I literally cannot watch the television for the next month because it’s all overwhelmingly emotional memorials and tributes about the March 11th earthquake and tsunami disaster. One never stops to think about experiencing a national disaster. I know that I never did. The emotions that the imagery conjures is still hard to express.

Our friend was very generous. We’ve been given a stroller, a bamboo baby gate, and some nice toys. Kai opted to not take any of the baby clothes until we find out the gender (hopefully next week!) I was looking up the safety standards of the stroller and found out that it’s a $400 stroller. That is so crazy. I’m thankful, but wow, that is pricy.

One of our friend’s family is moving from their current home to another area in Tokyo and they’ve offered us a bunch of their baby items and clothes. They have two little girls.
